Donne – eloped with the underage daughter of his employer; despite a court ruling they were legally married he was temporarily imprisoned and when released his poetry career suffered. Donne became a clergyman. 
The Flea was first published posthumously in 1633 but probably written in 1610 (Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116 was published in 1609)
