Rhyme Song Absent Thee X3 Alternate Fourth Lines

Front A Song (Absent from thee) Rhyme x3
Back
•Alternate rhyme in the first and third, and the second and fourth lines. This regularity of this rhyme amplifies the speaker’s control of the woman and his plans.
•Many are only half-rhymes ‘return/mourn’ in stanza one which creates a jarring sound much like his insincere protestation that he will suffer whilst ‘absent from thee’- his promises and feelings are not unifying the couple as a full rhyme may signify.
•simple rhyme monoyllabic - deceptive because overlooks complications - to him, nothing needs to be discussed.
