Islam obliges every physically and mentally capable adult Muslim to abstain from food, drink, and sex from dawn until dusk, with the aim of achieving piety.
يُلزم الإسلام كل مسلم بالغ وقادر جسديًا وعقليًا بالامتناع عن الطعام والشراب والجنس من الفجر حتى المغرب، لتكون التقوى الغاية المرجوة.
