Part Ma'dud معدود طالباً عشر Numbers Agrees ثَلاثَةَ

Text In numbers from 13 to 19:
  • the second part agrees with معدود
  • the first part does not agree with معدود
Back Extra ثَلاثَةَ عَشَرَ طالباً (ma'dud is masc.)
VS.
ثَلاثَ عَشْرَةَ طالبةً (ma'dud is femin.)
Book Extra Notes As you can see, in ثَلاَثَة عشر طالباً the (ma'dud) is طالب and it is masculine, so the second part of the number is عشر is masculine while the first part ثلاثةَ is feminine as indicated by the ة-ending.
