Spy Voice Killed Sentence Active قَتَلَ الجنْدِيُّ الجاسُوسَ

Text - Active voice -
قَتَلَ الجنْدِيُّ الجاسُوسَ (The spy was killed by the soldier)
↓
- Passive voice -
فُتِلَ الجاسُوسُ (The spy was killed)

In the second sentence:
  • فاعل of the first sentence الجُنْدِيُّ has been omitted
  • مفعول به of the first sentence الجاسوسَ has taken its place, and has become مرفوع::tense?.
Book Extra Notes In English we may say, #1(the spy was killed) or #2(the spy was killed by the soldier). The second construction is not possible in Arabic.
