Er Sacs Covered Protein Endoplasmic Reticulum?  System Flattened

Text What is the endoplasmic reticulum?

A system of flattened sacs of membrane continuous with the nuclear envelope

There are two types:

Rough ER is covered in ribosomes (site of protein synthesis) - protein goes in sacs the small vesicles can break of the ER and transport them to a golgi body
