Half Wavelength Radiation View Light General Rule Limit

Front What is the general rule of the limit of resolution?
Back One half the wavelength of radiation used to view the specimen

//this means if an object is any smaller than half the wavelength of the radiation used to view it, it can't be seen separately from nearby objects

eg: best resolution of a light microscope is 200nm since the shortest wavelegth of visible light is 400nm
