O.C Ocular Measure Eyepiece Units Number Total Millimeters

Front How to measure cells using eyepiece graticule?
Back 1) measure the cell using the eyepiece graticule and write down the how many ocular units it occupies

2) use the stage micrometer and then ask yourself "How many milimeters are in one ocular unit?" Convert to micrometers!

// tip: number of total millimeters divided by total ocular units (usually 100 o.c)

3) so if there is ___ o.c then multiply that by the millimeters for one o.c (step 2) because if one o.c is equivalent to ___ mm then u multiply the number of o.c by that ___mm
