Latin Ipsī mē prōvocāvērunt in eō quī nōn erat Deus, et irrītāvērunt in vānitātibus suīs: et ego prōvocābō eōs in eō quī nōn est populus, et in gente stultā irrītābō illōs.

Deuteronomy 31:20

English They have provoked me with that which was no god, and have angered me with their vanities: and I will provoke them with that which is no people, and will vex them with a foolish nation.
