Esther Quī Fuit Nūtrītius Fīliæ Frātris Suī Edissæ

Latin quī fuit nūtrītius fīliæ frātris suī Edissæ, quæ alterō nōmine vocābātur Esther, et utrumque parentem āmīserat: pulchra nimis, et decōrā faciē. Mortuīsque patre ejus ac mātre, Mardochæus sibi eam adoptāvit in fīliam.

Esther 1:6

English And he had brought up his brother’s daughter Edissa, who by another name was called Esther: now she had lost both her parents: and was exceeding fair and beautiful. And her father and mother being dead, Mardochai adopted her for his daughter.
