Tcp Rtt Connection Transferred Object Duration Types Non Persistent

Front HTTP: Connection types (2)
Back Non-persistent HTTP:
- For each transferred object a separate TCP connection is established, is closed immediately after the response from the server.
- Duration: Per object: 2 RTT (for TCP handshake, request / response) + data transmission

Persistent HTTP:
- Multiple objects are transferred via a single TCP connection, the server leaves it open.
- Pipelining: Objects can be queried directly after each other, without waiting for a response.
- Duration: Once a RTT to establish the connection, then only one RTT per object
