Years Transportation Reign James I North America Form

Back During the reign of James I (1603-25) transportation to North America was a new form of punishment. It was a severe punishment where on was sent to for 7 years or 14 years and maybe lifetime. Although They were not given money to come back when their sentence was finished. This was an effective deterrrent as there was not an good prison system.
