Abroad means ‘in/to a foreign country’. We use abroad as an adverb in phrases such as go abroad and live abroad. From is the only preposition that is used before abroad:

They are not going abroad for their holiday this year.

Not: They are not going to abroad

She’d love to live abroad for a few years.

Not: She’d love to live in abroad

Most of the goods are imported from abroad.
