BEDS
A bed for one person is called a single bed and a bed for a couple to share is a double bed. Two single beds next to each other in the same room are called twin beds. Rooms in hotels are called double, single or twin-bedded rooms. Two single beds built as a unit with one above the other, used especially by children, are called bunk beds. A futon is a kind of mattress that can be used for sitting on or rolled out to make a bed.
