DAILY ROUTINE
On weekdays I wake up when the alarm goes
off and get up at 7.30.
If I oversleep, I
know that I will be late for work. I have a
shower and wash my hair. I blow-dry my hair
with a hairdryer and get dressed. I
have breakfast at about 8.00, while listening to the radio. I brush my teeth and then
at 8.30 I leave the house to walk to the station. The train is very crowded with
other commuters because it is rush hour. I work from nine to five, with a lunch hour from one
until two. After work I like spending time with friends. We go to the cinema,
or to a bar or cafe for a drink. Twice a
week I go to the gym because I like to keep fit. I get home some time
after 7.00 and have dinner. In the evening I relax and watch TV or read the paper. I go to bed at 11.00
and fall asleep
straight away.
2 [uncountable]
tasks that have to be
done again and again and so are boring
tekdüzelik
I gave up the job because I couldn't stand
the routine.
3 [countable]

jokes, etc. that are part of a performance
