SCHOOLS
Children go to primary and secondary schools. These can be private or state schools, and sometimes they are also boarding schools. A school for very young children is a nursery school.
Schools have classrooms and every pupil/student is a member of a class. During lessons pupils study subjects, and after school they can do extra-curricular activities, such as sport or drama. Some teachers are strict, or give pupils a lot of homework. It is important to get good marks, especially in exams at the end of term. Students who bully their classmates or skip school usually get into trouble with the head teacher.
