Food can be cooked in
various ways. You can boil or steam vegetables with water in a saucepan and you can fry meat, fish and vegetables in oil in a frying pan. You roast meat or bake bread and
cakes in the oven. You can grill meat or fish under the grill, but toast is
usually made in a toaster. If you want an easy meal, you can microwave a ready
meal in a special oven called a microwave. In the summer you can barbecue burgers,
etc. on an outside grill, also called a barbecue.
