O Bridges Por Pontes De Cable Manthali Gimdi

4 – Recently, Nepal’s Prime Minister K.P. Oli announced a plan to replace the cable crossings with 366 suspension bridges over the next 2 years, and in January 2016 the first of these bridges connecting the villages of Manthali and Gimdi over the Baghmati River was opened.

5 – As the rest of the bridges are built, it could mean the end for the cable crossings. But for now, they remain the only direct route for thousands of people living in remote areas.

4 – Recentemente, o primeiro ministro do Nepal, K.P Oli, anunciou um plano para substituir as travessias por cabo por 366 pontes suspensas pelos próximos 2 anos, e em janeiro de 2016 a primeira dessas pontes conectando as vilas de Manthali e Gimdi sobre o rio Baghmati foi aberta.

5 – Enquanto o resto das pontes são construídas, isso poderia significar o fim das travessias a cabo. Mas por enquanto, elas continuam sendo a única rota direta para milhares de pessoas vivendo em áreas remotas.
