Episode Title Legal Problems
Phrase up to
Text In this podcast, the phrase "up to" means not more than: "He likes to eat cookies. He can eat up to three bags a day." This phrase can mean something very different. When used in "What are the children up to?" it means, "What are they doing (right now)?" This can be used as an informal greeting, too, if you haven't seen someone for a long time. "What have you been up to?" means, "What have you been doing lately?"
