A "space shuttle" is a type of rocket that is made to take astronauts into outer space and back to Earth several times: "How many space shuttles have flown to the moon?" Finally, as a verb, "to shuttle" means to move between two places many times: "After the divorce, their kids were shuttled between their mom and dad's home every week." Or, "How many times did you shuttle between Miami and Rio de Janeiro to close the deal?" |
