The phrase "to be stuck with (someone)" means to be forced to spend time with someone whom one doesn't like: "Olivia agreed to be a mentor, but now she's stuck with this irresponsible, immature college student." Finally, the phrase "to be stuck on (someone)" means to have a crush or to be attracted to someone: "As a child, were you ever stuck on one of your teachers?" |
