Church Soldier's Metaphor Blake Critise Government London Chimney Sweeper's

Front Where does Blake critise the Church and the government and how in 'London'?
Back "How the chimney-sweeper's cry
Every black'ning church appalls,
And the hapless soldier's sigh
Runs in blood down palace walls."

"black'ning" metaphor for the church is corrupt and is also a sign of the industrial revolution.
"appalls" means covered in a dark shroud - choosing not to see poverty

"Runs in blood" - metaphor and hyperbole for the palace/government sacrificing soldiers and not protecting the common man.
Exagerated by "hapless soldier's sigh"
