Sylph Theory Air Slender Silf Noun Elemental Paracelsus

Sylph refers to an elemental being inhabiting air in Paracelsus's theory, or figuratively to a slender, graceful woman or girl. Originally conceived as air spirits, sylphs are now romantic figures in literature and art.
