Cell Dna Phase Gap Synthesis Draw Labelled Cycle

Front Draw out the labelled cell cycle, annotating each stage
Back Interphase:
G1 is the first gap phase (the largest phase) where cell growth organelle copying and protein synthesis occur (this may branch out into G0 which is the resting phase where cell isn't preparing to divide - heart and nerve cells are here permanently)
S is the synthesis phase where the DNA replicates by unravelling the DNA to allow DNA polymerase to join new DNA nucleotides by semi-conservative replication
G2 is second gap phase

Mitosis:
Chromosomes are coiled back up and the cell undergoes division (PMAT!) finishing with cytokinesis so the two daughter cells both enter interphase again and the cycle repeats
