Actinomyces is anaerobic, not acid-fast, found in the mouth, intestines, and vagina; it causes pelvic or facial infections forming abscesses and "sulfur granules"; treatment is with penicillin.
Actinomyces, anaerobik, aside dayanıklı değildir, ağız, bağırsak ve vajinada bulunur; abse ve "sarı granülomlar" (kükürt granülleri) oluşturarak pelvik veya yüzde enfeksiyonlara neden olur; tedavisi penisilin ile yapılır.
