Protozoa Gi Infections Entamoeba Histolytica Transmission Diagnosis And/Or

Entamoeba histolytica is a protozoan that causes GI infections. Diagnosis involves stool examination for cysts or trophozoites, often showing ingested red blood cells within trophozoites. Stool culture or antigen testing can also be used for diagnosis.
