Chagas disease presents with cardiac (cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias) and GI (megacolon, megaesophagus) symptoms, is endemic to Latin America, and features Romaña's sign (periorbital edema) in the acute stage.

La enfermedad de Chagas se presenta con síntomas cardíacos (cardiomiopatía, arritmias) y gastrointestinales (megacolon, megaesófago). Es endémica en América Latina y el signo de Romaña (edema periorbital) es característico de la fase aguda.
