Streptococcus Agalactiae Group B Streptococci Gram Shape Resistant

Streptococcus agalactiae (Group B Strep) is a Gram-positive coccus, catalase-negative, bacitracin-resistant, and CAMP-positive; it colonizes the vagina and causes meningitis, pneumonia, and sepsis in newborns, producing hyaluronidase.
