Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can be diagnosed using tests for leukocyte esterase, nitrites (specific for E. coli), and urease (positive in Proteus, Klebsiella, S. saprophyticus).
Three diagnostic tests for UTI are the leukocyte esterase test, the nitrite test, and the urease test, each indicating specific bacterial presence.
