Factor Cord Mycoside Kind Growth?  Serpentine Enriched Media

Cord factor, a mycoside found in virulent M.tuberculosis, causes "serpentine" cord-like growth by inhibiting neutrophils, destroying mitochondria, and inducing tumor necrosis factor release.
