Formation Cell Vancomycin  Moa Uses  Inhibits Peptidoglycan By

Vancomycin inhibits peptidoglycan formation by binding to D-ala-D-ala, preventing cross-bridges and a functional bacterial cell wall; it is used for MRSA, C. difficile, and Gram-positive bacteria. Adverse effects include nephrotoxicity, ototoxicity, thrombophlebitis, red man syndrome, and DRESS.

Neželjeni efekti uključuju nefrotoksičnost, ototoksičnost, tromboflebitis, crveni man sindrom i DRESS.
