Pus Neutrophils Leukocyte Adhesion Defect Tissue Formation Lad

In Leukocyte Adhesion Defect Type I (LAD I), CD18 deficiency prevents neutrophils from entering infection sites, thus inhibiting pus formation and reducing the risk of bacteremia.

Lökosit yapışma defekti tip I'de (LAD I), CD18 integrin eksikliği nedeniyle nötrofiller enfeksiyon bölgesine giremez, bu da iltihap (ölü nötrofiller) oluşmasını engeller ve bakteriyemi riskini azaltır.

Front Why is there is no pus formation in Leukocyte Adhesion Defect (LAD)?
Back
Leukocyte Adhesion Defect Type I (LAD I) → CD18 deficiency (LFA-1 integrin) → presents with neutrophils that cannot enter tissue infection site → no pus formation as pus is basically dead neutrophils → neutrophils stay in blood and kill blood-borne infx but the risk of soft tissue infections increases → no bacteremia
