Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF) presents with fever, headache, and a rash on wrists and torso, caused by Rickettsia rickettsii and treated with Chloramphenicol (or Doxycycline if not pregnant).
La fase prodrómica de la fiebre maculosa de las Montañas Rocosas (RMSF) se presenta como fiebre, dolor de cabeza y un sarpullido en muñecas y torso. Causada por Rickettsia rickettsii, se trata con Cloranfenicol (o Doxiciclina si no está embarazada).
