The book contrasted women's lives a hundred years ago with the lives of women today. The snow was icy and white, contrasting with the brilliant blue sky. While there are similarities between the two cultures, there are also great contrasts. Contrast is what makes photography interesting. A wonderful thing about a book, in contrast to a computer screen, is that you can take it to bed with you. |
