Todo lo que he mencionado anteriormente, hacía el trabajo más tedioso y difícil pero no había mucho que hacer al respecto, como tampoco respecto al tiempo que perdía pues, según lo había dividido, utilizaba sólo una parte del día para realizar estas labores. Como había decidido no usar el grano para pan hasta que tuviera una cantidad mayor, empleé todo mi tiempo y mi ingenio durante los seis meses siguientes en hacer los utensilios adecuados para ejecutar todas las operaciones relacionadas al procesamiento del grano, cuando lo tuviera.
