아/어 Action 줄게(요 Speaker Pattern 으)ㄹ게(요 서울에 오면

Front 서울에 오면 내가 관광시켜 줄게요
Back I'll show you around if you come to Seoul
Notes The -아/어 줄게(요) structure is used in situations when the speaker reports that he will do something for the sake of the listener. It corresponds to 'Allow me ...', 'I will ...'.

The -아/어 줄게(요) combines the -아/어 주- pattern denoting an action performed in favor, and the intention marker -(으)ㄹ게(요).

-(으)ㄹ게(요) expresses spontaneously formed intentions when the speaker is promising or volunteering to perform an action for the benefit of the hearer. Phrases with -(으)ㄹ게(요) convey the sense of gentle checking with the listener if that's okay for the action to be performed.

When addressing an elder or a superior, the -아/어 드릴게(요) pattern should be used.
