Front 마크는 너무 많이 먹어서 뚱뚱해요
Back Mark is fat because he eats too much
Notes -아/어서 marks the clause describing the cause of the action denoted in the second clause. In other words, -아/어서 connects the cause with the effect.
The causal relationship between the two clauses should be natural and indisputable. -아/어서 cannot be used to express causation based on the speaker's own individual reasoning.
The second clause in sentences with -아/어서 causations is always a declarative sentence. Commands and proposals cannot follow -아/어서.
