| Notes | Korean adjectives can be turned into adverbs by adding special suffixes. Adverbs obtained by modifying adjectives are called derived adverbs. A limited sets of adjectives can be affixed by special adverb-making suffixes like -이/히 and -오/우. All other adjectives can be turned into adverbs by adding -게 to the stem. -이 derived adverb examples: 많이, 빨리, 같이 -히 derived adverb examples: 열심히, 천천히, 조용히 -오/우 derived adverb examples: 자주, 너무, 도로 |
