Notes -(으)ㅂ시다 is a sentence ending used to express formal style proposals for the hearer to do something together. The ending corresponds to 'let's' or 'shall we'. -아/어요 is an informal polite style equivalent of -(으)ㅂ시다. The principle can be preceded by the honorific particle -(으)시- forming -(으)십시다.

Suggestions or invitations with -(으)ㅂ시다 can be addressed to a group of people or to someone younger or same age/status as the speaker. When suggesting something to an older/higher status person, 같이 ...-(으)세요 should be used instead of -(으)ㅂ시다.
