Notes | -네(요) is an exclamation ending used to express a spontaneous emotional reaction, an exclamation conveying a degree of surprise. The ending attaches to verb and adjective stems. -네(요) can be preceded by the past tense -았/었- or the future tense -겠- marker as well as by the honorific -(으)시. When used with the copula, -이네(요) attaches to the noun. |
