Notes | -아/어-, formed by dropping -서 from -아/어서, is used to combine two verbs into one depicting a complex action. When -아/어 is followed by the space separating it from the second verb, the whole structure is seen like two standalone verbs. If -아/어- is followed by the second verb without spacing, the resulting combination is seen like a single verb. |
