| Front | 결혼을 언제 하냬요 |
|---|---|
| Back | They are asking when will I get married |
| Notes | Aside from being used in place of the full forms when reporting something said by a specific person, the short principles are commonly used to convey rumors or facts from an unspecified speaker ('I've heard...', 'they say...'). The polite style forms can be made by adding the -요 ending. The contracted forms can also occur followed by the past tense particles. The intimate and polite style endings -대(요), -냬(요), -래(요), -재(요) have their corresponding formal polite style forms -답니다, -냡니다, -랍니다, and -잡니다. |
