Notes Beginners might think that adding -겠- is a quick and easy way to express future tense in Korean. However, the most common future tense marker is -(으)ㄹ 거-.
The pattern is comprised of the future tense modifier -(으)ㄹ and the short form noun 것 (thing, fact). -(으)ㄹ 거- literally translates as 'the thing that will ...'.
The principle should be rounded off by a speech style ending.
