으)세요 Polite Action Principle Version 아/어 다시 만날

Front 다시 만날 때까지 건강하세요
Back Stay healthy until we meet again
Notes In its imperative function, -(으)세요 is typically used with action denoting verbs; it is not normally used with adjectives and the -이다 copula. However, such adjective imperatives occur in idiomatic expressions, for example, in phrases of wishing something to someone.

-지 마세요 ('please, do not...') is a negative form of -(으)세요.
-(으)세요 is just a combination of the honorific suffix -(으)시- and the 'multifunction' polite style ending -아/어요. The -(으)세요 principle occurs in statements, questions, commands and proposals.
-(으)십시오 is a formal polite version of -(으)세요.
When the listener is asked to perform an action for the benefit of the speaker, the -아/어 주세요 principle is used. A more polite version of such request is -아/어 주시겠어요?
