Notes As it is already seen from the examples above, the present tense in Korean is also used to describe ongoing processes (the present progressive tense) and events that will occur in the near future (the future tense).
-습니다 and -ㅂ니다 are pronounced [슴니다] and [ㅁ니다], respectively.
The informal polite form of -(스)ㅂ니다 is -아/어요.
