| Notes | When directly relaying someone's words, the part being quoted should be followed by -라고 or -하고 and then rounded off by a quoting verb. The principle can be generally described like: "[quote]"하고/라고 [quoting verb] Examples of quoting verbs include generic 하다 and 고렇다, saying-type 말하다 and 묻다, hearing 듣다, and thinking 생각하다 and 믿다. |
