Front | 존은 부모를 깊이 사랑하고 있어요 |
---|---|
Back | John is deeply attached to his parents |
Notes | It is very unusual for non-progressive English verbs like 'to believe', 'to love', 'to know', 'to remember' to be used in the progressive tense. However, such usage is very common in Korean. When used with verbs like 알다, 사랑하다, 믿다, 모르다, etc., -고 있- emphasizes the progressive or temporary nature of the described state. |
