Amount Neurotransmitter Ap Define Summation Describes Single Impulse

Summation describes how neurotransmitter from a single impulse may not reach the threshold in the postsynaptic neuron. However, if sufficient neurotransmitter accumulates from multiple impulses to reach the threshold, an action potential will be triggered.
