Population Plant Number Suggest Size Estimated Estimating Samples

This card explains how to estimate plant population size: take samples at multiple points, calculate the average number of plants per square meter, and multiply this average by the total area.

Bu kart, bitki popülasyonlarının boyutunu tahmin etme yöntemini açıklar: birden fazla noktada örnekler almak, metrekare başına ortalama bitki sayısını hesaplamak ve bu ortalamayı toplam alanla çarpmak.

Front Suggest how the population size of plants can be estimated.
Back Estimating plant population size:
  • Take samples at number of different points
  • Calculate mean number of plant per quadrat (m2)
  • Multiply mean value per m2 by the total area
