Protein Cell Secretory Vesicle Secreted Explain Paragraph Diagram

Exocytosis expels substances from the cell when vesicles containing them merge with the cell membrane, releasing the contents outside, as seen in secretion.

Exocytosis moves substances out of the cell when vesicles containing the material fuse with the cell membrane, releasing their contents externally, such as in secretion processes.

Front Explain in a paragraph and with a diagram how substances can move out of a cell by exocytosis. (use secretion as example)
Back Exocytosis:
  • Protein enters a secretory vesicle
  • Secretory vesicle containing the protein fuses with the cell membrane
  • Protein is secreted from the cell

*can replace protein with anything being secreted
